Okay DUKE fans, I was looking thru some notes I had and found this little gem. Now every JW fan knows that he won his only oscar for "True Grit". But did you know that TG was released on June 11th 1969.
And as we all know that June 11th 1979, DUKE bid us farewell!!!
Coincidence I'm not so sure. Maybe the big cowboy in the sky was a bigger JW fan then anyone realized, and wanted Duke to point out the right trail .
