    Plot Summary
    Chane Weymer (Randolph Scott), an Arizona rancher goes after a gang that is trapping and catching wild horses by the use of barbed-wire enclosures. He suspects Ward (Fred Kohler), of being the gang leader but is unable to find the needed proof. Ward also has an eye on the lovely Sandy Melbarne (Sally Blane).

    One of over 700 Paramount Productions, filmed between 1929 and 1949,
    which were sold to MCA/Universal in 1958 for television distribution,
    and have been owned and controlled by Universal ever since.
    However, because of legal complications, this particular title was not included in the original television package
    and may have never been televised.

    Based on the novel Wild Horse Mesa by Zane Grey, the film is about an Arizona rancher
    who goes after a gang that is trapping and catching wild horses using barbed-wire enclosures.
    Wild Horse Mesa is a remake of the 1925 Paramount silent film of the same name.
