Yes Kevin, thanks for reaching out to me. Sometimes life has a way of leading us in different directions. Kids have kept me busy the last few years and 1 is finally leaving the nest. I am doing well myself, no issues, just had to redirect some of my time and energy. I hope to check in from time to time to see what’s going on.

I am running Windows 7 but I do not use IE for anything. Chrome is strictly what I use now and I can count on 1 hand the weird problems that I had with Chrome. I am not saying to change but I wouldn't use IE unless it was the last browser on earth.

I like that movie and I have always liked Gregory Peck but he is kind of a love/hate actor for me. Either I love his movie or I hate it. I am sure it's just me but that is how I feel. It's sure not the same as how I feel about the Duke, that's for sure.

I encourage as many as possible to try to attend this event - it is really a lot of fun to be hangin' out with so many John Wayne fans in the town of his birth. The events are planned well, and you will NOT be disappointed. The air-conditioned venue is a plus (it was REALLY hot last year!).

Going to the local theater and seeing Duke on the BIG screen along with Maureen O'Hara, with other JW/MO'H fans is an experience you will not find anywhere else.

We are planning to go, and we hope to see many of our JWMB friends there!

FYI...Yes, it has been awhile since I posted on here. Don't get to mad at me for being gone.

Still no snow and looks like a brown Christmas for us here in Minnesota. Very odd weather as we really have no snow to speak of and any cold weather yet. Kind of depressing with no snow.

I just watched a Jimmy Stewart movie, Bend of the River and Harry played one of the guys asked to help drive the wagons of supplies to the settler's across the mountains who ends up being a bad guy. Good movie and good actor. He was also in High Noon and Yellow Sky a couple of other favorites of mine.

Rest in Peace Harry.....

MartyB2, do you know if there is any plans on releasing a better version of "The Quiet Man" on DVD or I could only hope, on Blu-Ray??
