  • Quote from may2: “Richard Anderson Dies: Oscar Goldman From ‘Six Million Dollar Man’ Was 91 Richard Anderson Dies: TV’s Oscar Goldman Was 91 | Deadline ” Rest in peace old pal. Very sad.

  • That was a great reflection on John Wayne. That about describes me accurately with regards to the affect a John Wayne movie has on me. When I want to relax and get comfortable, John Wayne is the tonic I seek. In fact, I'm sitting here this morning typing this with a cup of coffee and a copy of El Doroda playing. I have a long busy day in front of me and I wanted to start it with a boost of energy. I think part of my love of John Wayne is I can always count on who it is I see, both in movies and …

Watched this again last night. I honestly don't know why it's not loved more. John Wayne certainly has some great lines in it and the cast overall is pretty iconic and do a good job. Plus I love the soundtrack.

  • Quote from may2: “Silence Throughly depressing Scorsese film. ” Scorsese excels at depressing.

    Welcome to the family!

  • A film I ABSOLUTELY recommend everyone watch is " The Founder" with Michael Keaton. It's the story of Ray Kroc and the expansion of McDonalds. Absolutely fascinating. I was riveted from start to finish. Tons of revelations in this that I never knew about. For those who have Netflix, it's on there right now. Or you can pick it up at your local rental outlet.

  • Thank you! He did good. Here's a review of that first game and Daniel stood out. He has a shot!! &usg=AFQjCNGFN3ydDhGdFintUouttRz2uCdL7g

  • Yeah. Just heard about that and thought of True Grit while allot of my friends were just thinking about his music. Understandable but still...

  • Quote from Kevin: “JAWS This one never gets old. ” You know there is absolutely no way they should ever make a remake of that movie. It's absolutely perfect. I saw the Shallows and I really liked the shark in that, but Jaws is timeless. It needs to be left as is.

  • Quote from Kevin: “Hopefully my Falcons can but the past behind them this years! ” Even though I am a Patriots fan, I am a football fan first and having been a player through to my high school years, I am not without tremendous sympathy to you as a fan for how the Falcons loss. That was incredibly hard. But I will be honest. That is a difficult thing to psychologically overcome. If they can do that, I think they deserve to win the next Superbowl. We'll see how that plays out. On a personal note …

  • And the hits keep coming.

  • "Being Evel". An amazing documentary on Evel Knievel. No punches pulled. Anyone who loves this classic daredevil should watch this.

  • Cowboys and Patriots fan here. I guess that kinda makes me a outlaw, huh? Suffice to say the Pats have had to carry the load that the Cowboys can not seem to manage themselves. Looks like we'll have a down year coming up since Jones incredibly got rid of our entire secondary. Pats have simply reloaded. I wouldn't put it past the possibility they will go undefeated this season. They really built up their defense and have even MORE weapons to their offense. Incredible.

  • In a bad mood.....

You know it's a sad day when society turns it's back on conservative points of view and entrenches itself in socialism designed to gather everyone into a herd so they all think the same way. Might be closer to Communism.

  • Watched "Head" by the Monkees last night. It's an acquired taste for sure. 60's expression to the hilt but essentially a fascinating movie about the deconstruction of the Monkees. Does not have the normal flow of a traditional story but the underlying theme is present throughout. Love this band.

  • We are losing allot of gifted talent to the Heavens.

  • The Alamo is on all month long on the Starz movie channel.

  • Purchased the digital download of Kong: Skull Island last night. All I can say is Wow! It was an excellent film made by people who clearly love the lore of Kong in film. Tons of homages to the '76 , '33, and the Japanese Kong Vs Godzilla. The effects were mind blowing. Great movie.

  • Watched Rough Riders as well. Forgot what a good movie that was.
