All I can say about this afternoon and still happening is-the title to a great old song called: "Blinded By the Light."

If it keeps raining as hard as it has been all day, and the temp keeps dropping to the 19 degrees that is projected, we will have 2 feet of fluffy snow in the morning with very thick black ice beneath it! Time will tell!

Dang was raining hard and got real quiet. Yep, was snowing hard...nice big fat flakes....beautiful. Only last a couple of hours....about 2 to 3 inches worth then stopped........DANG! If it is going to be cold, I want SNOW!

73 and cloudy. Been raining all week.

The weather here in the heart of Dixie has been wonderful. Highs in the upper 70's - low 80s but also the humidity has been low like at 45% to 50% which makes the air temperature feel really nice at night. Lows the last three or four nights have been down into the mid to low '50s flirting with the upper 40s. We're getting a preview of fall but I'm not getting used to it, we got a lot of hot days left.
It was cool enough the other night to fire up the old chimnia.
