Not my favorite john Wayne flick, but certainly not the worst. I thought the dialogue was forced in some scenes, and I wonder if some of the characters would have been stronger if he had maybe pat Wayne or Chris mitchum, or someone else like chuck Bronson. But still a good movie. My rating: 6/10

I would have liked to have seen Rod Taylor as his partner in North to Alaska.
Rod was good in comedys.
