This is my favourite John Wayne film from the 1940s, which was arguably his best decade.
It's a shame to discover that Stephen Grant only did this one film, and that he died at only 60. -
I really love this one, as well. I watch it as often as I do The Searchers and True Grit. I was so glad when the released it on Blue Ray. It makes me sad to know that Gail Russell died so early in life of Alcoholism. She was a beautiful woman.

They did a great job with the film, Kevin. I had it on an old VCR tape, and it was not a good quality at all. The first DVD I had of it wasn't all that much better. So, when it came out on BR, I bought it right away and it didn't disappoint! Nice and crisp!
