And Son does to me too;, Paula. Even after the years of sun had taken their toll on his skin.......he was still one of my heroes. YOU DID THAT!. I didn't care much for him until I started watching movies you touted and learned about the way he was. Your talking me into getting his book helped a lot also! He has moved into my top ten, and he is in VERY GOOD COMPANY! Sure wish he and Ward had done a bunch. They could've been co-stars and not had a main star. Saved the studios money and still given the fans a thrill. Have you seen A Guy Named Joe with Spenser and Ward? You have given me so many of Son's, thought I would give you one of Ward's you may not have seen. Ward is in the movie throughout, and.....he doesn't die, LOL!

Hate it when they kill our favorites off! Here are a few from "Joe". AND YES, Son WAS an adorable baby and toddler. KEITH

      Two weeks old.

      And a cute toddler.

Hawkswill, Ward Bond looks handsome to me whatever age he is, including after the accident.
God, she reminds me of me! DUKE

Ben Johnson appeared in three Have Gun -- Will Travel episodes. "The Fifth Bullet" was his third and final episode. It recently came out on DVD and I posted screencaps from the episode here:

Mark the 1:6 scale modeler (see his 1:6 model of Ben Johnson as Sergeant Tyree in the She Wore a Yellow Ribbon thread, last page) made me a 1:6 model of Ben as Travis Blue from Wagon Master. Ain't he purty? :)

TCM is saluting John Wayne this week and I think that's a great idea, so I'm doing the same over at the Ben Johnson fanpage, posting scans and screencaps this week from the movies Ben made with John Wayne. Please stop by for a visit! ;)
