  • Clint Eastwood´s The Gauntlet. It was on air here in Germany, but it is not Eastwood´s best movie...

"Never apologize. It´s a sign of weakness."

  • Saw a couple of episodes of: Deadliest Warriors-on Spike TV last night. these were repeats but-what the hey-still great to watch. Glad to see that Jesse james's outlaw gang would have beat out Al Capones hoodlums.

Es Ist Verboten Mit Gefangenen In Einzelhaft Zu Sprechen..

  • Could not sleep last night and watched a few episodes of Airwolf and The A-Team. Good old action series of the 80ths...

  • The director's version of "Payback", a 1999 Mel Gibson film. The theatrical release has a completely different ending and the Kris Kristofferson character. The original director's version adds an important scene in the start of the film and doesn't have the blue wash tint. It's a very interesting opportunity to see how creative visions are influenced by studio-fueled need for box office success. I'm sure I know which version I prefer.
Both do contain James Coburn's very funny cameo.

    We deal in lead, friend.

  • A couple from the 50's...

"20,000 Leages Under the Sea". The Disney version starring Kirk Douglas. Very good.

"Plunder of the Sun" Starring Glenn Ford, produced by Duke's company Batjac. Good Mystery/Adventure/Film Noir. Another one of those movies low on budget but tells an interesting story.

  • went to the new Robin Hood with my 92 year old father and 86 year old mother. Dad liked it Mom survived the killing and enjoyed the rest. I thought it was interesting.

  • Shutter Island. What a twisted movie. A very suspenseful movie. Not sure I liked it or not, but I want say anything except that it is a Martin Scorsese. Need I say more?

    Cheers
