A Good Year with Russell Crowe. A romantic comedy, but it wasn't that great. Didn't entertain me.

I saw Breach last night. The story of Robert Hanssen, the spy who sold secrets to the Soviets. I thought it was a terrific, intelligent film. Chris Cooper is a great actor.
What the heck? Cool Hand Luke was on AMC again last night, so I watched it again. BTW, it's the only movie with Paul Newman in, that I like.
Six Days & Seven Nights with Harrison Ford. It had it moments but was generally Okay!!
Hi Ringo
Funny Cool Hand Luke and The Sting would be the two Newman movies I would like the most. I find most of his movies a bit slow.
Mike
Watched For Those Who Think Young. Anybody else ever seen it?
The Night of the Hunter is a very strange movie, and Robert Mitchum is very good, but is he always. I've never seen this movie but had the chance to watch it on TCM today. This is a very different movie that touches you in different ways. Anyway, you have Shelley Winters, and Lillian Gish. They are really great.
But the kids are something else. They are not in the business today and haven't been since the 50's. A must see for us older ones. Not for the young (kids). Hard to understand.
Cheers

Hi Mike, thanks for reminding me of him in The Sting. I liked that movie quite alot too. And I agree, I find many of his movies too slow--nothing wrong with his acting though. If I recall, I remember seeing him in some sort of Volcano disaster movie (? Possibly: "When Time Ran Out?") along time ago and thought it was a good movie--so he has at least three I really like him in.

Ringo, if you haven't yet seen Somebody Up There Likes Me (1956) the biography of Rocky Graziano starring Paul Newman, then I would highly recommend it. IMO, it's Newman's best movie.
Hi E.J, thanks for the tip and I will definately give it a watch if it gets played here sometime.
Tonight I will be watching the first four episodes of: "My Favorite Martian." Definately looking forward to watching these.
"The March of the Penguins"

I am not missing out!! I have sen them so many times from reruns on the TV. Plus for awhile they were on HDNet movies like a year or so ago and I copied a bunch of them. There is some funny stuff there, for sure!!
I've spent most of the past week watching Season 3 of both Rockford Files and Miami Vice, two of my favorite cop shows.
"Wallace and Gromit - Curse of the Were-Rabbit"
