Brilliant film, still as good today as it ever was
You can say that again. Today during lunch-I watched the sequel. Not near as good, but better than the rest of the sequels.

"Book ´em, Danno!" - I watched (to) many episodes of the new Hawaii Five-0 series, the whole first season. Most of the remakes of old TV-shows or movies I don´t like, but this one is GREAT! I think, some of You here have seen the original show, starring Jack Lord. I can tell You the new Hawaii Five-0 guys are as great as the original ones! They have lots of humor, there is much action, fine actors and a great story-line. We meet the old bad guy Wo Fat again, and we see more about the private life of the Five-0 cops in season 1. I real enjoyed it!
Short Circuit
diplomatic courier
The 300 Spartans w/ Richard Egan, Barry Coe, Sir Ralph Richardson, Donald Houston & David Ferrer and I forget whom else? Anyway, every time I see this movie--I like it more and more.
Great lines:
The Immortals Commander to King Leonidas: "Our Arrows Will Block Out The Sun."
King Leonidas back to the CMDR: "Then We Will Fight In The Shade."
Love the movie.

Keith, that's your most random film of late!
Glad you like to mix it up.

Got Hawaii five-o backed up on the TiVo, haven't watched any yet!
Probably a little reluctant as I loved the original as a kid, in fact the theme tune was one of the first things I learnt to play on a trumpet as a 7 year old!

Dooley,
I've watched this film so many times.
I love the bit when Duke is on the TV,
and the robot is watching him.

Why am I not surprised there was a Duke link in there!

I watched the original Hawaii Five-0 as a teenager in Austria on TV. The aired it once a week and always late at night... They use the same theme song for the new series!

I'll def have to watch it to get the nostalgia rush of hearing that theme tune!
I recently saw "Snow White and the Huntsman" with my kids. It was OK, rather long, and I was glad I paid the 'before noon' price rather than full price. Very interesting twist on a fairly well-known tale, some aspects of the story were downright creepy though, in my opinion. Definitely NOT for little kids (though the PG-13 rating should make that obvious).
Mrs. C
"Blazing Saddles". The campfire scene is the lowest of low brow humor, but my God, it's still laugh out loud funny.
We deal in lead, friend.
Objective Burma--had to see it once more before i place the Flynn box set on my brand-spanking new-shelf system. Heh heh, ill almost bet that all of you here thought I spent all my money on WWII images and stuff like that?:lol::lol:

Well, I admit almost correct ;-)) As a matter fo fact, I just scored another great photo from yesterday--which is of a General wearing a Knights Cross of the Iron Cross, as well as hiw WWI & WWI Iron crosses and their 2nd awardings. I got this one because I think I can ID him easily enough. That;s another passion of mine--I like collecting Names.

Because of seeing Prometheus.
Have to say its amazing how this one has dated badly whereas the original is still so fresh.

Our guide at monument valley told us his father worked on Eiger Sanction and Clint et al where dropped on the top by helicopter and didn't climb it.
Not surprised really!
