  • The Colditz Story 1955, With John Mills, Eric Portman, Christopher Rhodes, Lionel Jeffries. Allied prisoners of various nationalities pool their resources to plan numerous escapes from an "escape-proof" German POW camp housed in a Medieval castle.

In the last moments of World War II, a secret Nazi space program evaded destruction by fleeing to the Dark Side of the Moon. During 70 years of utter secrecy, the Nazis construct a gigantic space fortress with a massive armada of flying saucers.

Phantom's Review: This has got to be one of the most ridiculous movies ever made, yet it's surprisingly entertaining.. some good acting, decent FX ,plenty of humor and some sexy girls. It's a real "Leave Your Brain At The Door' movie, but it's plenty of fun.

  • The War Lover 1962 starring Steve McQueen, Robert Wagner, Shirley Anne Field, this is the first time that I have seen this movie and I really enjoyed it.
Buzz Rickson {McQueen} is a dare-devil World War II bomber pilot with a death wish. Failing at everything not involving flying, Rickson lives for the most dangerous missions. His crew lives with this aspect of his personality only because they know he always brings them back alive.

  • Anzio 1968 Starring Robert Mitchum, Peter Falk, Robert Ryan. One of WWIIs bloodiest battles as the Allies smash through the German lines which have enclosed the Anzio beachhead. Four months and 30,000 casualties before the Allies finally march to Rome. Still enjoyed it the second time around.
