Serpico
Hard to believe that movie came out in 1973.
-
Serpico was one of the first R-rated movies that I managed to get in to see by myself when I was underage. Very exciting. This was before kids could just watch R-rated movies on TV whenever they wanted.
The last non-western I watched was a DVD set with episodes of Dragnet, Peter Gunn, and Burke's Law. The last non-western movie I watched was MURDERLUST (1985).

Fences with Denzel Washington and Viola Davis .. It was a good movie..Betrayel of life, hopes and dreams of life in 1950's for the black male and his family. Apparently this was based on a true story...I wouldn't watch again..but I did enjoy it the first go around..Ms Davis was amazing in the movie...I hate to spoil it for those that didn't see it..but the fence was built...

Watching Daredevil on Netflix (Season 2 - episode 1). Great series!
I heard it was. I don't have Netflix, so I haven't seen it. But I did buy Season 1 for my oldest grandson because he liked the Ben Affleck movie from years back.

What a great movie! A completed underrated film. Bridges should have won the Oscar for that.

La La Land
It was OK. I'm not a big fan of musicals. It belongs on the big screen.

The Commitments
I saw it in a theater when it was first released but tonight I could run the captioning so I could understand what they were saying. Those Irish accents are hard to decipher. Good movie.

Watched 'The Philadelphia Story' with Cary Grant, Katharine Hepburn and James Stewart.

Rust and Bone
Good French movie with Marion Cotillard and Matthias Schoenaerts.
Marion Cotillard is the best actress working today.

Rewatched Hell or High Water. Terrific movie.
Hacksaw Ridge Great Mel Gibson film.
Elle Strange movie about rape that Isabelle Huppert should have won an Oscar for.
