IMO, "Ben Hur" was the best movie ever made. -
Watched "Jurrasic Park" - still a good adventure flick.
I agree with the assessments of "Ben Hur."

Bonnie Scotland with Laurel & Hardy Funnier than I remembered from the last time.

I finally watched "Titanic" last night from having taped it off cable. Better than I expected but I am sure a widescreen edition would sure enhance the visuals.

The last non western movie I watched was Jeff Chandler, Claude Akins and Ty Hardin in: Merrill's Marauders.
I then started watching The Planet of the Apes TV series on DvD. -
"Bullitt" with Mr. Cool

Watched a film called Frequency last night, starring Dennis Quaid & Jim Caviezel.
Was quite a good film, not spectacular, but good none the same, and the theme song was When You Come Back To Me Again by Garth Brooks, which is one of my favourite songs, so that was an added bonus aswell.

National Treasure- was okay I guess but found it primarely made for an American audience.

Coal Miner's Daughter
Based on the early years of Loretta Lynn, from her teenage years, to when she became the "Queen of Country Music", I really enjoyed it. The only thing though, was that I wished it had of gone a bit further on, but then again, I'm not entirely sure when it was made, so it may have gone as far as it could go. -
Star Trek: Generations
I realized I had not seen this one for at least 2 years so that's what I' ve done this morning. -
The French Connection with Gene Hackman. Superb show
-
"Supernova" with James Spader and Angela Basset.

This afternoon I watched a couple of episodes of "Columbo", one of which was set in London. Richard Baseheart and Honor Blackmun were the baddies and Columbo, who had been sent to London to attend a seminar conducted by Scotland Yard, naturally solved the crime. What was odd was that Baseheart, who was supposed to be a Shakespearean actor playing Macbeth in the episode, actually spoke with a fairly believable English accent. Kinda surprised me.

"Indiana Jones and The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull"
Fun adventure movie. I loved it.

Norma Rae with Sally Fields, liked it. Had the good luck to work as an extra for a week on a show that starred Ms Fields, and she is a first class act. A real pro and a pleasure to observe at her trade.

Been watching and still watching the entire short-lived Planet of the Apes TV series. They had some really good guest stars appear-even Clint Eastwoods ex-squeeze and John Ireland-those of you will know him as the guy who shot Duke in Red River-as he was on his way to go see the Kid, and Duke shot him without much thought like swiping at a gnat..The guy who plays General Urko (the head Gorilla Army leader) was played by Mark Lenard-who-was the only person in the original Star Trek TV series, to play a Vulcan, A Romulan and a Klingon.

Brass Target A very under rated movie by director John Hough.
Also, Dracula the Frank Langella version which for some reason the director and Universal have decide to issue a version on DVD that has the colour of the print reduced
to near black & white. Whatever the reason is it dont work!! Apparently, this is now the official version so unless it appears on TV fairly soon this will be the only one to watch.

"Dune" in the extended version disowned by David Lynch. Some of the special effects are dated now, but still an entertaining tale from the novel by Frank Herbert. The narration in this version clarifies some aspects of the story.
