  • Red Line 7000
Disappointing Movie by Howard Hawkes about three Stock Car Drivers and their love affairs. Some scenes were unintentional funny but I hated the dancing and singing. More a waste of time as good entertainment.

  • Dr. Syn: The Scarcrow of Romney Marsh, from Walt Disney Treasures. This is a series from the Wonderful World of Color, Disney. This was something I must have seen later, because it debut back in February of 1964, while I was almost 3. I wouldn't remember it until later, and I do remember seeing this as a child. It is a great story of early 18th Century England and the rebellion they had over the taxes of their land.

I rate it at 3 and a half stars out of 4. It's for the whole family.

    Cheers  Hondo

  • Veggie Tales - The Pirates That Don't Do Anything

Miracle on 34th Street (the 1994 version) - a nice update on a wonderful story, with Richard Attenborough playing the role of Kris Kringle, and an absolutely adorable Mara Wilson as Susan Walker. We look forward to watching the 1947 version with Maureen O'Hara.

  • The Battle of the Bulgewith Henry Fonda, Robert Ryan, Charles Bronson, Telly Savalas and many more. Historically inaccurate but I still get a kick out of watching it.

  • Hi

if I say it once I'll say it again, day time television is a damn fine wonder to behold. I've just finished watching the 1953 Disney version of the Adventures of Robin Hood and His Merrie Men.

With Richard Todd, James Robertson Justice, Peter Finch, James Hayter, and many other British supporting actors.

It takes me back to the Shaftsbury when I was a ten year old kid.

  • I love that movie too Arthur and have it in my collection. To be honest,
I have quite a lot of Robin Hood both television and movie versions.

  • A Christmas Carol (1951) starring Alistair Sim.
This to me is the definitive" Scrooge " and I have quite a number of versions
of the story in my movie collection.
