The Ugly Truth I am a big Gerry Butler fan but I thought this movie was dreadful.

I'm in the process of watching "The Trail of the Lonesome Pine" starring Henry Fonda, Fred MacMurray and Sylvia Sidney.
It's about one of those famous feuds between two families in the hills of (I suppose) West Virginia.
What's truly amazing about this film is that it was released in 1936, in Technicolor, and the quality and clarity of the transfer is as good, or better, than films recently released. -
"Jurassic Park III"

Cape Fear with Gregory Peck & Robert Mitchum so much better than the remake with superb Hitchcockian moments

Dante's Peak

I liked this movie, because it is so strange!
I watched The right Stuff a few days ago and I bought the new released Soundtrack... Great movie about Chuck Yeager, breaking the sound-barrier, and about the seven heroic astronauts of NASA´s Mercury Project! -
The Blues Brothers

French Connection II Great movie that holds up well with the first adventure in New York.

It wasn't a bad sequel but I thought the original was considerably better. -
Went to GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra. Not great movie by any means. But it has it's moments and there was alot of explosions!!!
-
Saw GI Joe last night as well. Pretty much agree with SX Viper. Effects were great though!

Invaders from Mars. Neat science fiction movie. It does show it age and budget in places but is well worth watching.
