      I have not read the book myself but hopefully someone else here has. From the looks of the title I would say the author was trying to make a name for herself.

    • Thanks for the plug, peggy! That's my site :D May I ask how you searched for it? I didn't think my site showed up on search engines.

      As for the book, it is a good read, but not the best biography I have read regarding Duke. The best by far would be the book John Wayne: American by Randy Roberts and James s. Olson. That book did it research. You can pick up a copy of this book cheap off ebay.
