  • Well thats enough for me, now that it looks like McCain got it tied up, now that Rommey Dropped Out.

It was Bad Enough here before with all the Men in Black Suits Running around at the Airport Checking on everything, and in Town and over at McCain's Ranch that is about 3 Miles from my Place.

I think I will just Sell Out here in the Verde Valley and Move Full Time over to the 26 Bar Ranch where it is Nice and Quiet and Wide Open Country, and No Men In Black Running all over the Place !!!

    Bill,

Just out of curiosity, do you happen to know McCain? If you do, what is he like? Looks like we don't have any choice. I will never vote for a Clinton in this life or the other, that I promise you. I want them out of Washington for ever, and feel the same about running them out of the U.S.

    Cheers

    Hondo,

It's a shame you have such vague, ambiguous feelings about the Clintons. It's too bad you can't just make up your mind how you feel about them. :vomit:

    Chester :newyear:

  • Yes, Hondo stop sitting on the fence and be more assertive!!:tank::tank:

Anyway, I see Obama is putting more pressure on the "wicked witch" with his last wins so with a bit of luck they will be still fighting it out up to the conference or there will be so much bad blood between them they will be loathed to vote for each other.

    Mike

  • If only we had a leader like this!!!

Prime Minister John Howard - Australia

Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of Australia , as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks.

Separately, Howard angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying he supported spy agencies monitoring the nation's mosques. Quote: 'IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT. Take It Or Leave It. I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture.. Since the terrorist attacks on Bali , we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians.'

'This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom'

'We speak mainly ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society . Learn the language!'

'Most Australians believe in God. This is not some Christian, right wing, political push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture.'

'We will accept your beliefs, and will not question why. All we ask is that you accept ours, and live in harmony and peaceful enjoyment with us.'

'This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great Australian freedom,

    'THE RIGHT TO LEAVE'.'

'If you aren't happy here then LEAVE. We didn't force you to come here. You asked to be here. So accept the country YOU accepted.'

" its not all black and white, but different shades of grey"

  • Who would ever thought that we are only a Stones Throw from having a President with a Name Like "Barrack Hussein Obama Jr."

If I remember Right I think we had a Run-In with a "President Hussein" not long ago?
    :glare:
Not many people want to say anything about a Half Black and Half White Man becoming the Next President, that had a Black Musslim Kenyan Father from Africa, but I will, what are they Going To Do, Throw Me In Jail for the rest of my life?
    :fear:
I have gone though my 77 Years as a White Man and somtimes called a Half-Breed, because I am Half American Indian !
    :tongue1:
Now the Want- To- Be "President, Barrack Hussein Obama Jr." is running as a Black Man for President of the U.S.A. not as a Half Black and Half White or Half-Breed !!!
Now Why Is That, I Do Not Understand ?

  • Neither his skin color nor name are what scare the hell out of me. What does is that his voting record shows him to be the most liberal senator. Can you imagine a president more liberal than Ted Kennedy? We'll be lucky to survive.

  • Here is More Info. on
    "Barack Hussein Obama"

Here is a Little about His Back-Ground out of 5 Pages of Info. and it should Scare the Hell Out Of You!!!

Machines 'to match man by 2029'

    By Helen Briggs
    BBC science reporter, Boston

Tiny machines could roam the body curing diseases

Machines will achieve human-level artificial intelligence by 2029, a leading US inventor has predicted.
Humanity is on the brink of advances that will see tiny robots implanted in people's brains to make them more intelligent said engineer Ray Kurzweil.
He said machines and humans would eventually merge through devices implanted in the body to boost intelligence and health.
"It's really part of our civilisation," Mr Kurzweil said.
"But that's not going to be an alien invasion of intelligent machines to displace us."
Machines were already doing hundreds of things humans used to do, at human levels of intelligence or better, in many different areas, he said.
    Man versus machine
"I've made the case that we will have both the hardware and the software to achieve human level artificial intelligence with the broad suppleness of human intelligence including our emotional intelligence by 2029," he said.
We'll have intelligent nanobots go into our brains... to make us smarter

    Ray Kurzweil

"We're already a human machine civilisation, we use our technology to expand our physical and mental horizons and this will be a further extension of that."
Humans and machines would eventually merge, by means of devices embedded in people's bodies to keep them healthy and improve their intelligence, predicted Mr Kurzweil.
"We'll have intelligent nanobots go into our brains through the capillaries and interact directly with our biological neurons," he told BBC News.
    CHALLENGES FACING HUMANITY
    Make solar energy affordable
    Provide energy from fusion
    Develop carbon sequestration
    Manage the nitrogen cycle
    Provide access to clean water
    Reverse engineer the brain
    Prevent nuclear terror
    Secure cyberspace
    Enhance virtual reality
    Improve urban infrastructure
    Advance health informatics
    Engineer better medicines
    Advance personalised learning
    Explore natural frontiers

The nanobots, he said, would "make us smarter, remember things better and automatically go into full emergent virtual reality environments through the nervous system".
Mr Kurzweil is one of 18 influential thinkers chosen to identify the great technological challenges facing humanity in the 21st century by the US National Academy of Engineering. The experts include Google founder Larry Page and genome pioneer Dr Craig Venter. The 14 challenges were announced at the annual meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science in Boston, which concludes on Monday.

Five surgeons from big cities are discussing who makes the best patients to operate on.

The first surgeon, from New York , says, "I like to see accountants on my operating table because when you open them up, everything inside is numbered.'

The second, from Chicago , responds, "Yeah, but you should try electricians! Everything inside them is color coded.'

The third surgeon, from Dallas , says, "No, I really think librarians are the best, everything inside them is in alphabetical order'

The fourth surgeon, from Los Angeles chimes in: 'You know, I like construction workers. Those guys always understand when you have a few parts left over.'

But the fifth surgeon, from Washington , DC shut them all up when he observed: 'You're all wrong. Politicians are the easiest to operate on. There's no guts, no heart, no balls, no brains and no spine, and the head and ass are interchangeable."

  • Wonder will the fact that John Mc Cain was born in Panama (admittedly in a American controlled zone around the canal ) become an election issue. Is the definition of a naturally born American just in the 50 states. I dont think Mitt Romney made an issue out of it as his dad George who also ran for President in 1968 was born in Mexico.

Watch this space for the wicked witch's camp !!! Lose the election to Mc Cain then claim he can't be President as he is not naturally born American.

You think I am joking dont be so sure!!

Two of my three kids were born in Germany, 11 years apart, and both are American citizens, Mike. Not naturalized either. The reason being is that I was serving in the military when they were born. Since McCain's father was in the military when he was born, he will also be an American citizen.

  • You know we are due an Indian for president. Bill, why not you? And don't use age, McCain is up there and he's running. You give no nonsense solutions and get the job done, and we'd have a national holiday every year in May to celebrate John Wayne day. Whatcha think?

    Cheers
