  • Hello everyone

    Recently I found a reference to John Wayne in the above movie but archive footage?

    I have a copy of it now and my old eyes cannot find JW there? I have viewed it several times at slow speed and can only think he is there behind a kind of see through newspaper right at the beginning.

    Although if he is there how you would know is beyond me.

    Still I might of course be wrong.

    Anyone else seen this movie and spotted him?.

  • I didn't know that. I saw the 1930 version, I think it was Clark Gbale's first important role in a movie. Very dated now of course, but as soon as he walks on you could tell he was going to become a big star.

    Plot summary


    Tom Gray is sent to bring in a gang smuggling goods across the border. Posing as the wanted outlaw the Pecos Kid, he joins Prescott's gang. But his true identity becomes known when the real Pecos Kid shows up.

  • thought I would ask this again AND

    Has anyone seen Brother can you spare a dime? I have watched this twice now and cannot spot JW in it?

    Same with Hollywood bloppers cannot spot him in that either?

    Is this just a ploy to get silly old JW fans like me to buy these films:teeth_smile:
