Back in the 1960s when I was a engineer at the Phone Company in Phoenix, at lunch time we loved to go to what was called Mexican Town South of the Salt River for The Best Mexican Food in The Valley and with Very Fast Service so we could get back to work !
Then one day in the News Paper Head-Lines it Said " South Phoenix Restaurant Closed Down For Serving Cat Meat !!!"
You Guest it, That was the same place, But they did have the Best Mexican Food In Town, and I sure Loved those Big Cat Tacos ?

While working in construction in the San Jose, CA area, we would see quite a few taco trucks on the job sites selling their wares. The unwritten rule was to avoid the rigs that had cat pelts drying on the back.
