    Thanks for posting Kevin! The Quiet Man is my favorite of Duke’s films. Just wish my Irish ancestors had done as good a job passing down the family history. 🙂

    I know the gentleman that showed John his families old home here in Randalstown where I live when he was over in England filming in the 70s. He took time out and came over and met with a local historian and got shown what's left of the old house at An Draid

    Very interesting Post. I had never realised that John's ancestor's - being from Northern Ireland - were British!
