How Duke influenced my life.

I became a John Wayne fan through my Grandmother. Her favorite John Wayne movie was The Searchers. After we watched that movie I was hooked. Duke became my HERO! I love Duke’s other movies as well but his westerns are still my favorites. I didn’t have a positive male role model in my life growing up and I think that’s why she introduced me to John Wayne. My Grandmother is gone now and I have passed the love of John Wayne on to my children, and I hope they pass that same love onto their children. Thanks for all the great memories Duke that I shared with my Grandmother while watching your movies. Forward Yooooooooo.
