Thanks ! I'm using an iPad , and some things don't seem to work, like clicking links . I am a long time fan of John Wayne, have lots of his movies , but at this time in my life, I don't have much time to devote to my interests. Work. I did have a question I wanted to post in a forum, about one of JWs westerns , which has been bugging me for Years . Can seem to be able to start a new thread?

Hi, this is DachsieLady from deep in the heart of Texas. Love the 1930s John Wayne westerns. Have seen all that are on YouTube each about ten times. Don't know why I do not get bored but guess it is just that John Wayne has that certain charisma that is perfect for westerns. The plots of these old westerns seem to go by a routine forumla but still are more interesting that other so-called B westerns of the day.
If anyone knows anything about this old movie and when and where I can view it in English, please let me know.
This is only in German on YouTube but looks like one I have never seen.

Thanks for replies. I just rented the movie, In Old Calfornia, for 2.99 on YouTube but it is buffering and will not start playing. This is the first time I have rented a movie like this. Hope I can get it to play. My computer is new and is working well so not sure what problem is.
thanks again all.

My wife and I are big fans of John Wayne, Ward Bond, Eric Flemming,Paul Brinegar, Richard Boone, You get the gist. I've been watching westerns since the end of the 50's and follow them on the retro tv channel now. In 1972 John Wayne starred in the movie Mc Q. He filmed a few scenes at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle WA. I Was working at Harborview In 1980 and came to know medical staff who had met the Duke when he was filming. Several of the Nurses who were on duty and met him said He was tall, a gentleman, treated everyone kindly, held doors open for the women, every bit the guy you expected him to be. Knowing this, gives me the utmost admiration for John Wane, when ever I watch his movies. -Mark
