Was also going to come here to post about Richard Anderson dying. So heartbroken over this. The other main fan blog I participate in is one called the Bionic Project- a fan community of those who love the Six Million Dollar Man/The Bionic Woman. I absolutely adore these shows and I love Richard not only as Oscar Goldman in those shows, but also his varied performances in a great deal of other shows and movies. He has a smallish role in one of my top 5 favorite movies (Escape from Fort Bravo) and I've seen him in a random smattering of episodes from other shows: The Big Valley ( a few times!), Columbo, *I think an episode of Murder She Wrote?*, and others.

RIP Richard Anderson. Such a gentleman. You will be sorely missed by your fans.

I am ABSOLUTELY HEARTBROKEN to report that longtime TCM host Robert Osborne has died at age 84. I grew up watching his intros to classic movies and I credit him with introducing me to my love of classic film. I am truly heartbroken. If I wasn't in the middle of class right now I would be openly crying... come to think of it I think I need to go to the bathroom and cry anyway.

RIP Robert. I love you so so much. Thank you for all that you have done to influence my life. Praying for his family and the rest of our extended TCM family in this time.

John Hurt known Alien and to me for his performance as The War Doctor in Doctor Who, has died.

SO SAD to report that Mary Tyler Moore has died.

I am such a big fan of hers.. I'm very sad. Praying for her family and friends at this time.

Prison Break series finale... crying. my. eyes. out. It's SO GOOD! but SO SAD!!!!

Saddened to report *hopefully* the last death report of 2016- William Christopher (Father Mulcahy of M*A*S*H) has died at age 84.

Just rushed here to report the same thing. RIP Debbie Reynolds (mother of Carrie Fisher) how sad to lose them both in the span of 48 hours. My heart is breaking. Hope they are together now.

Praying even more for their entire family now.

Absolutely devastated to report that Carrie Fisher (of Star Wars fame) has passed away as a result of her heart attack a few days ago.

Will be praying for their family.

I've seen the Kings Speech (looooved it!) but not The Queen (I'll have to look that one up!), but yeah we love Downton Abbey!

After I just posted the above comment about my family watching "The Crown", I was summoned downstairs and we ended up watching about 2 and a half episodes! (or something like that!) Now we're almost through episode 5 (of 10??). It's very good!

I do have to say I did get Hooked on Stranger Things on Netflix. That was an amazing series. Only eight episodes long, so you can get in and get caught up fast. It's treatment is Stephen King meets Stephen Spielberg meets the Goonies. It has a nostalgic nod to so many styles and the story takes place circa 1981. The director who was not even born in 1981 has tremendous sensibilities to those characters for the day too. Incredibly odd, someone not of that era could pick up on that. I highly recommend though.

ooh yeah- watching ones that are already available on the site is a great idea!

They used to have a few eps on Amazon prime (I think..? ) but i don't know if that's still there anymore. We predominantly watch it on Netflix (through Roku) but apparently it will be leaving Netflix soon!
