It has been awhile since I last commented. It is a dirty shame that the California Legislature voted down a resolution for a John Wayne Day. Texas had a John Wayne Day this year and so did Newport Port Beach, CA. It is no wonder that California is called the Left Coast. The left has ruled California for so long they believe all this BS about the country including this bathroom/locker room crap. The is not your fathers Democrat Party.

I just watched this great video tribute to the career of Maureen O'Hara. It is a labor of love and I enjoyed it very much. I will pass it around to other Maureen fans.

The last theater western I watched was True Grit with Jeff Bridges. It was pretty good but not up to the Duke's version.

I may not be the oldest but I am far from the youngest. DOB - August 5, 1945. Being 65 makes me feel old sometimes but the Duke makes me feel young again, i.e., The Lady Takes a Chance, 1943.
