A blonde woman was walking on the beach when she suddenly heard a cry for help. When she looked out in the water she saw the man crying for help swimming with a shark circling around him. She had to giggle a little bit to herself since there was no way that shark was going to help the man.

One of the best comedies ever made. This show was really popular here in Norway too.Our political system is close enough to the British to make us identify with the series.

I hope you can finally get a good night's sleep after two years of waiting.

I just watched this a few days ago and after seeing all the Lone Star westerns I didn't have very high expectations. I was surprised by how good it was. Along with "Born to the West" this must be the best of his B-westerns.

Nice clip, Kevin, but what happens next?!?!?!?
Enquiring minds want to know!

This may be a record of some sort. I'll quote this two year old post and link to a thread that is five years old. It must have been renamed since I started it:

I was surpised to see "Thunder Bay" not released as a region 1 DVD. It's released as a part of boxed set though. It was recently released as region 2 DVD. I don't know if this counts as an official release, but I have bought several movies from this company and I have never had any complaints about them.

Yes I expect most people on this message board will have Stagecoach somewhere near or at the top. Can't remember ever seeing The Little Princess.
-
Of the movies on this list wich I have seen "Only Angels Have Wings" would be my top choice. "Gone With the Wind", "Stagecoach" and "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington" would follow. Really a great year for movies.
Here is another list:

Yes!!! I did it! I remember trying for some time last year without beating it, but now I got 323.5.

Well I don't really have much hope for this myself, but it can't hurt. If you enter TCM's website and go to John Wayne's biography found here:
http://www.tcm.com/tcmdb/parti…sp?spid=202933&apid=87147
On the filmography at the far left press the more link you get all his movies listed. Click on any individual film and you can vote on it. This is to help show interest for having it released on DVD. Of course it would mean voting for those not released yet.
Well I voted on a couple and intend to vote on more the coming days. Maybe if we all went in and did this it could help their chances.

Just watched this for the first time. This is a really good movie. Except for "The Big Trail", none of the other movies I have seen with John Wayne in it from this time period comes even close to being this good. Barbara Stanwyck is great.

Thanks guys. I still lurk here even though I have not been posting.

There will be a Blu-ray release on the same day.
Where do I collect the money?

I watched "Night Stalker" when I was 8 or 9 and I remembered it as being really scary. I bought the DVD-collection and watched it now and it was more like watching a comedy series. According to the box set there were made 20 episodes. I know there was a new "Night Stalker" series made a couple of years ago, but I have never seen it.
I remember "Ellery Queen" used to run on TV here in the late 70's. Funny how I can't remember anything from the show, but I remember the opening music.Catchy tune.

Maybe that's a horse instead of a dog.
Yes, that must be it. Still it's the ugliest horse I have ever seen.
-
Maybe it's a small woman in a small car.

Just wondering, but has anyone here actually seen the 1929 version starring Gary Cooper? It and a whole lot of Cooper's early sound films are not available on DVD or VHS and are never shown on TV, at least to the best of my knowledge.
I haven't but if you really want to see it:Regards

I watched "The Man From Colorado" today. Starring Glenn Ford and William Holden. I didn't know anything about this movie before I watched it, but I have to say this was a big surprise. A reallly good movie where Glenn Ford plays this really despicable character who is appointed judge after fighting in the civil war. He appoints his army pal played by Holden as marshal, but due to Fords crazy power mad behaviour it turns into a fight between them (and the entire town). If you haven't seen this one I highly reccomend it.
