Criminals are like Real Estate and Lawyers and Judges are the realtors. Evey 7 to 25 years the property usualy comes back on the market. Ready to put money in the pockets of the lawyers and judges.If you hanged these people you would be taking the food out of every criminal lawyer and judges families mouths...And Heavens know we couldn't let that happen...

The Amnesty INT. bugs me too. You see these programs on tv where they interview the lifers or death row crowd and they whine about how their mother didn't love them or their father beat them or some other indescretion to blame for their crimes.(real or just BS). Just once I would like to see one of these guys tell the truth..."I SCREWED UP,NO BODY TO BLAME BUT ME"...NOT VERY DAMN LIKELY...

Let the punishment fit the crime. There is no death penalty in Canada anymore unless you kill a police officer and it is rarely carried out.What gets me is why is a police officer's life more valuable than mine??? I have heard it said that if you are in trouble ie.(rape,murder,burglary,assult,robbery) that when you use 911 or anything else you should say "Officer Down" This will get the response of at least 20 police officers imediately. Anything else and you are on your own...At least until sufficient time has elapsed so the crook can safely get away...

I haven't seen Crossfire Trail yet but I am putting it on my Christmas list. The other 2, I have and have watched and like markgpl I am a Tom Selleck fan. I even have the moustache + goatee...ST...

Sands of Iwo Jima was a shocker but this was war and he died a hero and not by the hand of a coward (Cowboys) or the death wish of a dying gunslinger (The Shootist). In Sands of Iwo Jima aside from his squad and an astranged family he was just another marine who was loved by no one and who,loved no one. Sounds kinda calouse,don't it...

The Cowboys was the worst for me. It is funny what you said about Laura Dern,I remember a interview with the girl who played Nellie Olson on Little House on the Prarie where she said people would throw stuff at her in parades and other functions because she was so mean to Laura Engels. It is amazing how TV affects our lives and temperement. I can't stand Bruce Dern in anything...You think the "Cowboys" had something to do with that????

I sure haven't seen the original Stumpy but I will look for it in the future. I didn't even know there was another version,although most of the stuff out the last few years are re-makes. I watched "3:10 to Yuma" tonight...Is it a RE-Do or original???

It is the swan song of the dissapearing way of life of the Cowboy in the 1890's to 1900. If you like Tom Selleck then you will probably like this one.

I think the biggest reason people won't admit they are western fans is because it isn't "Cool" or "Chic". It was like the musicals of yesteryear(substitute "Disco Music" if you like). If you said you like it now everyone thinks your gay.Maybe with westerns everyone will think you are a "SH%T Kicking -Hill Billie RedNeck!!! OH Wait....I am...(the latter for you lowlanders)...
