    Hiya Everyone,
Not a new member, but it has been awhile since I have signed on to the JWMB. I will need to catch up and read through the forums posts. I moved from Pennsylvania to Raleigh,NC and have become a Biker Pastor so much of my time is helping the needy, and interacting with Biker clubs, ministries, and groups.
    Shalom.

Thanks Keith for your hard work on the info and pics. Shame the school is gone.
I enjoyed this movie for two main reasons, it had John Wayne, and Judy Geeson. I had a crush on her from the Too Sir With Love movie. To quote Sir, she was smashing.

Sons of Katie Elder has been one of my favorites for a long while. I may be wrong, and if I am please correct me, but I believe this movie and Red River are the only two movies Duke reads the Bible on camera.
I am a member of a bunch of online groups, and I use John Wayne holding Katie's Bible as an avatar or my signature.

This year is odd, for yesterday was only our fourth day of snow for the whole fall/winter seasons. Honestly I have not missed a single flake. You see 4x4's with plows for sale all over, as well as snow mobiles.

Reading that story about the 'grandkids' of Pat Garrett, something struck me as odd. He died in 1908 at 57 years of age. They are grand kids, not great or great-great-grand kids. By their pictures they do not seem to be as old as I am, and yet have a grandfather dead for 102 years. Hmmmmmmm.

I can't believe I missed this thread. I am a Liam Neeson fan. I own many of his movies, and think he does have a good range in his acting skills.
Next of Kin is still one of my favorites, as Darkman always will be.
Schindlers List will be his crown movie until he makes one better and with a larger impact imho.

Sadly this movie is not being distributed anymore. Even the used copies are becoming more expensive. The John Wayne Museum still sells copies but at $20 a copy.:omg:

I found that Amazon Digital has it and I downloaded it for $9.99.

Growing up early 60's Shane was the movie any kid would remember. The movie Ladd did that's my favorite is The Black Knight. I can not locate that in DVD or VHS anywhere here in the states. I may get one from Ebay.co.uk, a seller has 4 of them. DVD I believe is the same format internationally.

I was finally able to get this movie from Amazon Digital for $9.99. Downloaded the DVD in about 20 mins.

I don't use a laser at home, I use one at work but it is a expensive Lexmark brand. Those are very nice printers. I am not sure what the price of a laser printer from them would be though.

Compared to the HP or Canon the Lexmark is cheaper. I have used them and cleaned them and they work fine as does the HP. Brother also makes a nice laser printer. Part replacement is what costs on a laser, along with the cartridge itself.

Any time it takes 3+ hours to play a 1 hour game is 3 hours wasted. I used to like hockey when the Canadian teams were Canadians and the US teams were Americans. Once they started bringing in the European imports that finished me. Plus I couldn't be bothered to sit for 3 hours.

Hockey got ruined by all those politically correct morons who never played or understood the game. The Europeans didn't effect the game, but in many ways made it better. I played against AHL level players and top US college and the Euro style changed the way the NHL played.
The PC morons changed the Pee Wee, High School and Amateur players rules so that no one gets hurt physically or emotionally. I played a HS reunion game and in the first two minutes was in the penalty box.
I like good hockey, and coached HS for awhile. Nothing like teaching a player a good hip check.

Usually my Wife and I do not exchange gifts. This year she got a iPhone, I have not decided. It has been years without any presents and I can't make up my mind.:stunned:
With having the two hand operations we have had to avoid get togethers so I did not get sick to cause me to miss the second operation. Now they are done, I can not wait to see my Brother and his family. I missed Thanksgiving and so this will be both together.
