Hold up there Smokey, it's been awhile since the boys have been around, I don't know about you but I sure wouldn't mind polishing a couple of belt buckles(slow dancing).

This is bad when Smokey had time to wander off and plant a gum tree to sit under. What did you guys find so interesting on down the road that Smokey and I couldn't do for you?Didn't think you all were the wandering kind....:broken_heart:

Finallty! I don't were you all are dancing around but I am still in Dodge...just about had given up any hope of seeing any of you ride into town. Keg is tapped and waiting:beer:, tie up your horses and come on in. Someone find a piano player, the last one left town, got tired of waiting on you guys to show up. Anyone have any cards on them, I used all of the house cards for target practice......lets party!!!

Yes I did see it....I was a little disappointed because he talked more about his career and very little about why he picked these movies. Had a comment about how every little boy wants to be a cowboy and JWayne's strength of character and that was about it. I had seen the promo's for this and was looking foward to more but oh well.

    Wow!!
Thanks Harry, Marilyn, and Clyde for putting up this great site. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed the book "In the Company of Heroes." Since Ford used pretty much the same group of people in most of his movies you just knew there had to be some great stories.

Thank you so much Harry for sharing your memories with us, we truely enjoy them.

I was pretty disappointed. I thought it was to predictable and really lacked in action. The biggest let down was when they finally got to Capt. Schull and all they did was rode in and took him from the pit?...I thought they would have to put a little fight at least. Oh well.....

A blonde calls her boyfriend and says, "Please come over here and help me. I have a killer jigsaw puzzle, and I can't figure out how to get started."

Her boyfriend asks, "What is it supposed to be when it's finished?"

The blonde says, "According to the picture on the box, it's a rooster."

Her boyfriend decides to go over and help with the puzzle.

She lets him in and shows him where she has the puzzle spread all over the table.

He studies the pieces for a moment, then looks at the box, then turns to her and says,

"First of all, no matter what we do, we're not going to be able to assemble these pieces into anything resembling a rooster."

He takes her hand and says, "Second, I want you to relax. Let's have a nice cup of tea, and then .." he said with a deep sigh, . .. . . . . .

"Let's put all the Corn Flakes back in the box."

Oh.. you found one of my other weak spots....I am a kissaholic.:hyper: They have a pretty special place in our family since they are how my Grandparents met. My Grandfather saw my Grandmother at a dance and went up to her and asked her if she would like a kiss(while handing her one). Pretty cute I thought. I also collect kiss candy dishes and have been to Chocolate World in Hershey, PA. My favorite are the white chocolate Hugs.

Finally everyone has electricity back and things are starting to melt off....but they are saying another snow storm is on the way for Sat. Everyone is leaving their generators in place just in case.

Lots and Lots of ice and rain....luckily I still have electricity. The assisted living center my daughter works at evacuated early this morning because of no elec. and she and my mom are both without power. I have only one bedroom so my daughter and her little family are staying with friends but I am watching her cat since we don't know how long it could be before the elec. is restored. My mom is a true farm gal and had provisions in place and alternate heating available so she is fine. But everything is a mess with trees down everywhere. Lots of closings still but it looks like I have to try and slide to work in the a.m. Oh well.

Anytime Joe, if you haven't been since you were 11 you are in for a real treat. If you go don't miss the Roy Rogers Mueseum(really bad spelling) and theatre or the Sons of The Pioneers.

Very cold...just a bit of ground covering snow but icey. ( I love winter!!!) Most all churches in the north half of the stated cancelled services this morning now am just waiting to see about school and business's for Mon. It is supposed to be worse tomorrow with more ice expected. Am just making the best of the winter day by lighting the fireplace, putting on a pot of homemade ham and beans and watching some movies.
