  • Where Have All The Writer's Gone ?

    Hi Hondo.D.L. I already have 1st season of COMBAT but I put of ordering the 2nd season because i'm waiting for another shipment to arrive before I place another order. I'm waiting on 1st season of Hogan's Heroes and "Titanic" w/Clifton Webb, Richard Basehart, Barbara Stanwyck and Robert Wagner. Soon as these get in i'll be ordering 2nd season of COMBAT as well as Stalag 17.


    On the John Wayne 5 DVD collection: It depends on what movies are in the collection and whether or not I already have them. Which movies are in that collection? As for Disney movies, those are very low on the buying Totem Pole even though I have 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea.


    I have been wanting Bad Day At Black Rock for awhile now but, everytime I think of buying it, something else I have wanted even more is placed for sale. The latest of course does include a few of The Duke's movies like Stagecoach etc. Now that Warner Bros is releasing some of Errol Flynn's best movies, I HAVE to get those fairly quickly as well. :)


    Of course, everything listed above will be put on the back burners to get if they release the 2nd and other seasons of Hogan's Heroes. I simply love that show even if its not a popular show for some others.

    Hi Jay, that's partly why all I watch are the older TV shows and Movies with the exception of Becker and The Amazing race and some documentaries and things like that. I can't stand the vast majority of what is currently out there. Oh well, in about a week I will have some more "old stuff" come in on DVD to watch. I just ordered a copy of Titanic w/ Richard Basehart, Robert Wagner, Barbara Stanwyck and Clifton Webb. The other is the 1st season of Hogan's Heroes. Next month will be 1st half of 2nd season of COMBAT mainly because there is a 2-parter episode with Richard Basehart in it. :D:D

    Hi Ben, I definately hear you on that. This is one of the reasons why I no longer watch any current TV show with the exception of The Amazing Race. All the rest that are shown I do not care for. History Channel, Foor Network, Hallmark Channel, AMC, TCM, A&E, TVLand and Discovery, are basically the only channels I will watch anything on. The last "new" show I watched episodes fron was Becker and I did not even know about that show utill a few months after it went off the air.
