    Now let me ask this? Why was this called Lonesome Dove? The majority of the movie (I haven't read the book) took place away from Lonesome Dove, Tx.

  • Lonesome Dove

    Has anyone seen the miniseries, Lonesome Dove? I saw this movie last weekend, and I have to say that it was the first time I've seen it. I purchased this on DVD, and finally seen it. I thought it was good, and the acting of Robert Duvall and Tommy Lee Jones were really good. It was good to see Robert Urich (he passed away a few years ago). I think that they could have cut a lot out of this movie, and made it shorter like maybe 2.5 hours instead, but the story was good.


    What are your thoughts about this picture?
