They came to Cordura a tortured soul war western from Gary Cooper with Rita Hayworth. A bite of a dud.

Tom Horn The more I watch this movie the better it seems. A film of Horn's early life would make a great film.

Rio Bravo Classic!!!

Unforgiven with Clint Eastwood & Gene Hackman

Shane nice scenery very little action, awful fight sequences with stuntmen clearly visible. Obviously, the film centres round Alan Ladd and the boy but Ben Johnston made a bigger impact than Jack Palance.

Hour of the Gun with James Garner & Jason Robards
-
Bandido with Robert Mitchum

They Died with Their Boots on Classic Flynn western on life of Custer with the lovely Olivia De Havilland as his wife. Classic Raoul Walsh movie

Joe Kidd Interesting to see familar faces from the Duke's movies with Eastwood even the town looked like the one from Trainrobbers with the railway station identical to Big Jake.

North West Mounted Police Cecil B De Mille movie with a lot of help from Gary Cooper
who carried the movie. -
With Ben Johnson, Rod Taylor, et al, I think the supporting cast was pretty dang good and along with Duke & Ann, the best part of the movie.
Ann Margaret nice looking girl but I never rated her as an actress. Ben was good as usual Rod Taylor I thought was a bit of a loose end in this western.

The Trainrobbers Average western let down by supporting cast which is a shame.
