I think I have put this up before, but in the 1970s when My Wife Martha and I dropped Duke and Pat Stacy off at the Orange County Airport, He gave Martha a Big Hug and a Kiss on the Cheek, and I thought She was going to FAINT. 
Flying home late at night to Paso Robles, She Said "Boy that was some kind of Man, The Duke"!!! 
I think I was a little Jealous.

When I was growing up watching "The Duke in Films" in the 1930s, 40, and 50s there was not a The Word "SEXIST" that is a Word that was Invented in the last few years.
Duke loved the Ladys and the Ladys Loved Him! 
And He never spoke down to The Ladys. 
In those days a "Lady was a Lady and a Man was a Man, HALALAH!!!" :lol:
As to Duke Spanking some of the Ladys in His Films, 
when they Lipped off to him too much, 
I do not think any of us would have liked it very much if He had Flattened them with a Punch to the Jaw like the Men that Lipped off to Him in His Films!!!
