, but if you really want to read a book about the man, Amazon has Howard Hawks - The Grey Fox of Hollywood.Howard Hawks was a fascinating man with a fascinating life. Are those days gone for good? I suspect they might be . . .
.It's interesting that Mr. Hawks was on the outs as far as Oscars were concerned, along with the Duke.
