i used to long for extreme weather like they get in parts of america, but having had temperatures of minus 20 this winter, i think i ll settle for wet and mild in future. freezing cold winters seem to be becoming the norm

cold wet and miserable in lancashire - watching the cricket in australia has cheered me up though, not least cos we re winning again, but everything always looks better when you can watch a few hours of sunshine

we have been seeing pictures of all the flooding in brisbane - it looks terrible. what has caused it to happen?

too hot

wet and wild with some flooding around here

typical autumn weather for around here, ongoing rain, rain and more rain which turns all the leaves to slush

warm and sunny in lancashire today - but very autumnal with lots of orange and browns - same as last week - beautiful dog walking weather

suprisingly warm for the end of october but nice walking weather

i m going to have a little whinge here - having been promised a long, hot, dry summer by the weather people for weeks and weeks, we had a heatwave for about 2 weeks and now the summer seems to be over and it is back to the same old rain, rain, rain

similar here really ... loving it - after the winter we ve had its so nice to see a bit of sun at last

well....its been beautiful on the sunny fylde coast this weekend. maybe we re getting summer at last

i watched the news this morning and saw a place in devon called ilsington - have i got that right? covered in snow - just blue skies up here but very cold

not much snow up in lancashire either - just a light sprinkling at lunchtime today - it is still very cold though
