Posts from chester7777 in thread „Your Help Needed!“

OK, guys and gals, sometimes the ol' brain isn't fully in gear. I started a second thread (in February) that pretty much duplicated Kevin's original thread (back in January). So I finally got the two of them together and merged them into one. Sorry, Colorado Bob, for the confusion - Kevin had started it, but somehow I had missed it :headbonk: .

Just wanted to bring this back to the top, to remind everybody that when you find a really cool Western Link, just go to the bottom of any page of this message board, and click on the Western Links logo, and use the " add your favorite western related link" link to contribute.

You're right, I had forgotten about that upcoming project of Kevin's. I guess this thread will be a help to him, in picking up some of the links, and in the meantime, we can check them out and post our thoughts.

Oops, looks like we were typing while Kevin was posting just ahead of us!

Thanks, Kevin, for that link again. We'll get some of our links there ASAP.

    Bob,

You're right, I had forgotten about that upcoming project of Kevin's. I guess this thread will be a help to him, in picking up some of the links, and in the meantime, we can check them out and post our thoughts.

So keep posting your links here, folks, and we'll let Kevin sort them out for his new site.

    Hi All,

I'm sure this site has been linked before,
Here is the John Wayne Birthplace Museum in Winterset Iowa. They now offer quite a selection of JW DVD's, along with many John Wayne collector items.

Ethan linked to it last month, I'm thinking this thread might be pinned, so we can start to create our own links page. Ethan's comments about the drugery of searching thru old posts, holds true for the dozens of past posted links that are now semi lost in our vast collection of old posts.

    Hi All,

We have discussed this in the past, . . . . thought I would bring it up front again.
There are several other web sites out there that relate to the old west, cowboys, western movie stars, and western movies.

One location here is the Old Corral web site. It is full of all kinds of information regarding the kids of things that are near and dear to our hearts.

This link takes use to The Old Corral's list of links to other old and new western sites, it is loaded with great information. I have e-Mailed them today, asking that our Duke web site might be included with their list. Hopefully they will include us.

So enjoy the links, and check them out. . . .
