For all his gruffness in some movies, I consider Victor McLaglen kind of like a big teddy bear, probably from some of the Shirley Temple movies I have seen him in. It was interesting to learn of his boxing background.

Only 4 with the Duke?? That's amazing. He must have really had some presence, because it seems like I've seen him in more than that.
