Two things. When Frank Sinatra arranged for the Martin and Lewis reunion, it was on Lewis annual MD Telethon in front of millions of people. Frank and Jerry were out on stage kibbutzing and out walked Dean and, Jerry just melted. they both embraced like old friends and history was made. Now, when Jerry Lewis is interviewed and questions come up about his relationship with Dean, he has nothing but kindness and good words about his old partner.
The second thing is about Deans club, called Dinos. It was on the Sunset Strip and back during the late 50's, early 60's, a tv show called 77 Sunset Strip used Dinos as a backdrop for the show itself. It was a private detective show and they had their office right across the driveway from Dinos. One of the characters, Kookie, played by Edd Byrnes was a valet car parker in the show and worked at Dinos. Thing is, Dean Martin, as far as I know had nothing to do with the show and never even made an appearance on the show.
