Peter, posting any attachments
is a labour of love!!Agreed on the labour bit, not sure I'm loving it though!
-
Nice artwork Peter thanks
Thanks Keith.
Got more to do just takes me ages to dig them out and unroll them.
Should have stuck to stills, lol! -
Sorry I missed this, Pete. I'll have to do some searching before I can list those I have. But I will post a list for you when I've figured it out.
No problem. I'm a big fan of both so be interested to know which ones you rate out of the ones you've seen.
-
I'm sure you'll be watching more of them from now on!
-
Westbound Half sheet. I love this one!
-
The Bounty Hunter window card. My coasters make an appearance again!
-
I just ordered from Amazon all the Randolph Scott and Joel McCrea westerns I don't have yet (which aren't many).
Nice on Stumpy!
Could you list them on here so I know what I'm missing.
Thanks,
Peter (Dooley)

It's a good'un. Unsurprisingly I have it, lol!

I can see a silly at thread forming here!
-
Some people can pull off the big hat, and some people can't. lol
Mark
Just fell over laughing, now THAT is a BIG hat. genius!
-
I think that hat was a foil, to take the gals eyes off his good looks!!
LOL! Great one.
To the untrained eye, such as mine, it doesn't look too bad! Doesn't look like an upturned flower pot.
If he was wearing one of those cartoon sized hats Duke and everyone else wore in the early pictures I would understand.
Maybe Peridot you can give a quick lesson in cowboy hats for the uneducated, ie ME!
-
We still do...but what was up with that the ridiculous cowboy hat? What a devastatingly handsome man in such a silly hat. Was he afraid of looking too good?
So Peridot I take it you're not fond of his hat, lol!
What is so bad about? I'm intrigued. -
FanTAStic Pic, Larry. One of the very best for a nice large sketch...lots of detail. Can't wait to do this one. Keith
Agreed, great image!
-
Randolph Scott did have some of the most attractive co stars in his films.
Not all were hugely famous or successful but they were damn pretty!
I would if he had any say in the casting! -
Have not seen the "older" person Randolph Scott movies....except for one, LOL! But, this is a great pic, Peter and to have it autographed also! Thanks for sharing. KP
Thanks Keith, thought this was going down like a lead balloon like my other picture posts lol!
I much prefer Randolph Scott in his later westerns, quite a few are among my favourite westerns of all time.
-
Got round to scanning a few other bits. This is one of my favourite pieces, autographed by the man himself. I hope you all enjoy it too.
-
I have been watching all the Ranolph Scott Budd Boetticher Westerns and have to say they are very good indeed. I must admit that I never really rated Randolph Scott and found him a bit 'weak' on screen but these westerns when he was older are superb.

Someone once said, "if you repeat it enough, eventually it becomes true.
Chester
I'll take that as a green light to use it then!
