Actually I have only seen her in two movies, The African Queen and Rooster Cogburn. I knew nothing of her political views whatsoever, she just never really struck a chord with me as to find out more about her. Although I will say this, I would pit Katherine Hepburn against any actress today and bet she would come out on top.

I find it fascinating that she was chosen to play a role that is a good twenty years younger than her actual years in Rooster Cogburn. But I loved her spunk.
