), I didn't know we had a thread dedicated solely to Ms. Main. I've seen her in many roles over the years. Like Lt. Brannigan said, she was great as Ma Kettle but to repeat myself, I liked her best as the old widow in "Friendly Persuasion" who kept trying to interest Gary Cooper and Tony Perkins in her daughters.
