That actor would be Russel Crowe who also did A Beautiful Mind.
Anyway I have been watching 3rd rock from the sun, and it's a laugh all the way through.

McQ after watching it last night, I developed a new respect for the film on. It's actually quite an interesting John Wayne vehicle.

You mean the comments I made weren't enough?
I can almost guarantee you won't be disappointed. Believe me, it's one heck of a great movie.Actually I was wondering if maybe there was one scene or moment that left an indelible impression that has to be seen to fully understand.

Just watched, for only the second or third time, what I consider to be the best movie to come along since "The Shootist".
The plot is even somewhat similar, in that Tom Hanks is trying to ensure his son doesn't follow in his footsteps. Naturally I'm talking about "The Road to Perdition", in which the acting is superb, the score and cinematography wonderful, and the story itself enthralling.I had never considered watching that movie, but Stumpy's brief comments about the film has me intrigued. Anything else you can think of to recommend about it?

Over here at least where I am, Brits and English are the same thing, irregardless of how pathetically incorrect that is.

I have been working my way through X-Files.

National Treasure: Book of secrets. A whole lot of style, but not much substance.
-
The Abbott and Costello Show "Hillary inherits a Haunted House".
-
Batman: Gotham Knight.
-
The Dark Knight (2008) In my humble and unasked for opinion this is the best Batman movie yet. Irregardless of what you think of Bale. It's also my favorite movie of 08.

A shot in the dark. Interesting and always worth watching for Peter Sellers.
-
Hot Shots: Part Duex (1993) It is easily one of the best spoofs of all time, it takes on Rambo III.
-
Hot Shots (1991) Charlie Sheen, Lloyd Bridges, Kevin Dunne, Cary Elwes.
A hilarious spoof of Top Gun with a dash of Dancing With Wolves thrown in. It consistantly made me giggle.
