The African Queen on Blu Ray.
Absolutely STUNNING transfer, almost looks 3D! One of the best blu ray of a film that age. Fantastic film of course!

Ted: silly comedy with Mark Wahlberg, but nonetheless enjoyable. The Highlight was seeing Sam Jones playing a pastiche of his Flash Gordon role, and remarkably not looking that different, he has aged well!

Fun movies to watch.
Powell and Loy are a great pair.I love these Powell and Loy films, can watch them over and over again.
-
She with Randolph Scott on blu ray.
Often voted as one of the best, worst films ever made!
Quality no better than the DVD but it is pretty good for its age. -
I haven't seen the Herbie films since my childhood. They were huge at the time.

HItchcock-Anthony Hopkins-More enjoyable than the HBO film a couple weeks back;
Trouble With The Curve-Clint's latest, which I found enoyable;
The Imposter-complex documentary about a 23 year old man trying to impersonate a (now)16 year old who had disappeared when he was 13.That's a decent selection of viewing. Glad the Hitchcock film is good.

Resident Evil, the latest one.
Terrible movie. Only redeeming factor saving it from total, total tosh was the production design. -
On the Costner trail again
JFKGreat film, unbelievable that Oliver Stone can't seem to put anything even half decent together now!

Contraband: mark Whalberg and Kate Bekinsale.
Not a bad little film, better than I was expecting. -
The "A" Team w/ Liam Neesen.
I dont know if I like dit or not? kinda liked it but--left lots to be desired too. I only snagged it because the DvD was in the $5 buck bin at Wally World.
I know what you mean Carl. I enjoyed it too but not really sure I could tell you much of what happened now, lol!

Von Ryan's Express on blu ray... Finally!
Good transfer, not stunning, but such a great movie.
It doesn't matter how many times I've seen it I still root for Sinatra to make it... He never does, lol! A true classic.

Damn Carl, another film I haven't seen which looks like a good one!

Just watched the latest episode of walking dead, a few days behind you guys over here, then straight into the amazing spider-man, ie me!
By far the best Spider-man film to date in my opinion, Garfield is far more fitting than Toby McGuire was. Almost blew my head off with the surround sound as 90% of what I watch is normally 50+ years old, lol! -

Lived in Atlanta 19 years until it got too big and I married and moved to Savannah Beach in 1969!
Anyway, here is a site that tells of a lot of the filming locations...I know most of them.

KEITH
Thanks Ladyhawk,
I'll have a look at that. Interesting to see the locations.

The walking dead is filmed just a little south of where I live.
Cool! Have you ever gone down there and watched them filming?
-
Dawn of the Dead
Nice one Keith, good to see you watching some zombie action, lol!
That's another genre which is a guilty pleasure of mine.

A season 3 ep of The Walking Dead.
Thanks Carl, that means I'll be watching it soon! Don't say anything, lol!
