Back To Bataan, I was surprised how much I enjoyed this after it had a slow start, I thought this was at least as good as if not better than The Sands of Iwo Jima as I felt the supporting players were stronger here and the story particularly in the middle was very enjoyable about the fortitude of the Philippine people and I got a history lesson as my WWII knowledge consists mostly of Europe based stuff. Duke was good as usual here and managed to mix light hearted and tough well given the role and Anthony Quinn was very good in support. Have to give mention to Beulah Blondi who I mostly know as Jimmy Stewart's mother in other films but she was very good here as a fiery headmistress.

Bullet To The Head with Sly Stallone, a very good action flick but I can see why it didn't do very well as it was pretty standard for the genre, wouldn't mind seeing Stallone do another film or two like this with the main focus on him, he's been sharing the spotlight in most of his recent films.

I too watched Identity Thief, i'm a big Bateman fan and can generally enjoy anything he's in, it was funny if a little over sentimental at times, a decent comedy.

Expendables 2, was alot better than the first and had some really good action scenes. Always nice seeing guys like Norris, Arnie, Van Damme, Sly etc

Come Live With Me, Romantic movie with Stewart in the lead, surprising how many of these films are really enjoyable.

Just downloading this movie sounds like a good movieThink i'll do this aswell, big fan of both actors. Ryan is hugely underrated, almost forgotten these days.

Don't know how I ended up posting it in the non-western thread! Looking forward to seeing the thread Keith.

Warlock with Henry Fonda, Richard Widmark and Anthony Quinn was in the mood for a good old fashioned Western and this one was really excellent, the story was a cut above the average Western with lots of psychology and character development. The acting was great and their was plenty of action and good story aswell, very good cast for the period.

It had it's charm and I particularly liked Grant's understated performance with Stewart being more of a screen hogger it just felt like it dragged in places I guess, it certainly was good though just not one of my favorites.

The Philadelphia Story, while it was fun I don't really see why it's highly regarded. Never been a big Hepburn fan tbh

You gotta stay happy a fun little comedy from 48 with Joan Fontaine and Jimmy Stewart, standard rom-com screwball stuff but I really enjoy these films with Stewart as the lead, aslong as you don't expect too much their a fun way to waste an hour or two.

New season of Arrested Development! Been waiting 8 years for this!

Made for Each Other with Carole Lombard and James Stewart, iv'e never come across Lombard before and she was really gorgeous sad how it ended for her. The film was an entertaining enough drama but was abit all over the place at times. Biggest surprise was Ward Bond randomly popping up for a small scene!

Sands of Iwo Jima, was very good with some great emotional scenes from the Duke, I particularly liked the scene with him and the baby where he showed his tender side. Could perhaps have done with more character scenes in place of war scenes but it had a very good story all the same.

Watched alot of WWE wrestling today, it's very childish but it is my ultimate guilty pleasure

Watched They Only Kill Their Masters with James Garner was a murder mystery meets typical 70's cop movie, had a good story with some really interesting twists and quite an impressive cast. Perhaps I should check out The Rockford files as Garner was great as a cop in this.

Magical Mystery Tour
I'm a huge Beatles fan, have to say Hard Day's Night is my favourite! -
A few episodes of Arrested Development, one of my favourite shows ever. Just noticed it's a year to the day exactly since I joined the Forum, how time flies!
