This has always been one of my favorite action-adventure movies. Like you said, great performances by all. Binnie Barnes character, Anne Bonney, was a real person. There actually was an Anne Bonney and she was a pirate along with some other woman, whose name I forget. I saw this on the History Channel about a year ago.
