Hi Jim and SUe, I completely agree with your post. As well, it makes me a bit sick to hear the national news media spending all this time on this young lady shaving her hair off. I mean, who really cares? I sure don't. Also, I think this young lady is out of control, just like Anna Nicol Smith was. Really is sad and a shame.
I am a fan of C&W. But only the more traditional sounds. I cannot stand this new type of pop country where half the time you cannot tell if you are listening to top 40 pop rock or country western music. Guys like Travis Tritt, Alan Jackson, Brad Paisley, George Strait, and that type are who I like. I also like the 80's hair bands and some newer heavy rock. Cannot stand rap or hip hop, that is just plain pathetic music if you ask me.
Like Todd, I like these singers as well.
Also like Todd, I cannot stand hip-hop & cRAP either. I absolutely like some big band stuff, some ragtime, traditional German music and lots of Jazz especially that 1950's Russian underground Jazz, rock and roll from the 50-mid 80s and few later exceptions, country & western from the 30's to the mid 80's with some exceptions. I like music played on Xylophones (SP?) as well as guitar music, piano music, and Jazz with lots of bass drum in it.
I can add that I do not like the garbage that seems to have made brittany spears a rich girl, and all the ones like her.
