Haven't kept up with baseball too much since the Braves no longer own their division, but with all the pitching changes this year, this might be an interesting season. We'll see.

(bump)Well, we came within one game of winning the college world series, dog gone it all!!!! Oh well, can't wait for college football to roll around.
-
Congratulations to the Red Sox on their sweep of the Colorado Rockies in the World Series. Maybe the Braves will be there next year.
-
How about that HUGE collapse of the Mets. Going from 7 games up with only 17 games left to not even making the playoffs. WOW!!!
-
And knocked my Braves right out of it!!!!!
-
Don't feel bad Bill, I actually thought we were gonna do something this year. Hey, at least it's football season so maybe I can get my mind off baseball.
-
Who just came back from a 8-2 deficit to win in the ninth???? Go Braves!!!
-
Great little bit of history there, gt. Thank you
Cheers - Jay

I think Harry Carry passed away a while back. -
The sad thing is that Baltimore had a 3-0 lead in the third inning. There were 30 runs scored and only 29 hits.
-
Did anybody here catch that Texas and Baltimore game tonight? If you didn't, Texas won 30 (yes 30) to three!!!!!!
-
Happy 40th birthday John Smoltz!!!! Hope that pinky is ready to go for your next start.
-
Well tonight should certainly be interesting as Smoltz squares off against former Brave Maddux.
-
Took two of three from the Mets again!!!!!!
-
Win one, lose one. Win one, lose one. But we won last night.
-
Well, it does feel better to be back on the winning side again. Did you know that there have been 17 postponed games already this year?
-
What is happening to my Braves???
-
Well I guess you can't win 'em all.

Hey Stumpy, the town I live in has about half that. I like being able to go when I want to go and not having to sit in traffic. I took (I think) I-75 from Atlanta to Chattanooga a couple of years ago and by the time I got there, I felt like I had just toted an ass whuppin'. Bumper to bumper and aaauuuggghhhh!!!!
