Well, buddy, when you get to be my age, your hauling days taper off quite a bit. But when I was 19 or 20, I felt exactly the same as you.

It's funny, I used to shake my fist at those white-headed old geezers and holler "drive it or park it". Now I'm one of those old geezers and the youngsters are shaking their fists at me because I obey the speed limit.

Well I'm almost double the ages you posted so I guess I don't have a whole lot of time left to haul ass either.

Guess you and I are Luddites, Jay.

Well, I'm not so much a Luddite as my priorities are different than the techies. For instance, I bought a new $35000. Honda Ridgeline pickup a couple of months ago. I get much greater enjoyment out of driving a new sporty vehicle than I do out of watching razor-sharp pictures on a TV receiver. Like you, I'm perfectly satisfied with the television and stereo equipment I have - it may not be the latest and greatest but it suits me.

Hey Stumpy, I like driving something sporty too, especially something that'll haul ass!!!

I never have been, and never will be PC. I've never cared what people think about what I say. If certain races or cultures want their equality then maybe they should quit complaining about the past or making up new reasons to continue their problems. (i.e. Getting Imus fired was plain hypocritical with the statements that are made in certain music lyrics). Just call me the Archie Bunker of the 21st Century.

Why isn't Sharpton and Jackson protesting current cRAP music that basically does the same thing as Imus did?

Well, my youngest left the nest about 17 years ago so I no longer have that worry either. All good things come to those who wait. :hyper:

Well my oldest will be a teen-ager in less than a month so I might take to drinking more for a few years. heh heh

Since I no longer attend movies at the theater, disturbances there bother me not at all. I just wait until the DVDs are released and watch them in the peace and quiet of my home. Lot cheaper too.

Since the movies are released just a few months after their release, we don't go to the movies very much either. Only to take the kids to one on a family night out perhaps.

Hi Brannigan, you left one out. Take your family to see the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie.:glare: Have about a half a dozen teenage girl Johnny Depp fans :stunned: sit behind you. Hear them ooh and aah and oh my god there he is!!!!!!!! If I would have had about a one foot long water hose.....
