There was a audition here in Montgomery for the young female lead for the movie "True Grit." Now I am not a fan of remakes, but this is interesting due to the fact that they are here doing this. I was not aware that the Coen Brothers were doing this movie. Not a fan of them. They did movies like Lady Killers, No Country for Old Men, O Brother, Where Art Thou?, Raising Arizona.

The newest movie coming out this weekend is Marley & Me. If you are a dog lover, then this movie is for you. It is for the whole family. This is for not only the dog lover but for everyone. I hope you will see this movie at theaters or on video when it comes out. It is a great one.

Looking forward to hearing your reports on The Dark Knight from you guys. I can't believe the press and high praises this movie is getting. If you look at IMDB, they have voted that movie #1 replacing Godfather, Part 1 in a big way. I have just about decided not to see this, but I may have to go and see this myself. I'm not a big Batman fan.

I've seen Mr. Brooks and it is very different. I don't recommend this movie. It is twisted and that's putting it mildly.

We are suppose to see The Great Debaters this afternoon. I'm not really interested in it, but I am taking family, so I was voted out. I'll see NT2 very soon, maybe Tuesday.

The wife and I saw the new HP movie... Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. . . . . . . . .
. . . . . . I really think overall, the HP movies will probably bring in more money than the Star Trek series and maybe the Star Wars series of movies. I'd give this movie 3 stars.
