Fess Parker said it right with the people of the area. I have been there and you have to speak their language or you will be killed. That is the way of their lives. That may seem harsh but it is survival. They are rough people and they are simple. They have a honest spirit about themselves, hard core to no end, but fair. That is one reason why Tennessee is known for being a Volunteer state. They are ready to defend to the death and they don't reason in their fight. Maybe we need to get them to the middle east and let them handle things the way they know how.
